<p>Il quartultimo turno di <strong>MLS </strong>si apre in <strong>Canada</strong> con <strong>Montreal </strong>che ha un&#8217;occasione d&#8217;oro per riagguantare il treno <em>playoff</em>. Ospiti di giornata gli <em>Earthquakes</em>, rassegnati all&#8217;ultimo posto in classifica.</p>
<p>A sbloccare la gara ci pensa il colpo di testa del solito <strong>Martìnez</strong>, che anticipa anche l&#8217;uscita del portiere e mette dentro l&#8217;1-0. Il raddoppio arriva poco dopo, sempre col venezuelano che scocca un destro secco di prima intenzione dal limite dell&#8217;area.</p>
<p>Chiude i conti <strong>Clark</strong> che si inserisce sul secondo palo e riesce a spingere dentro la conclusione imprecisa del compagno. I canadesi si portano quindi a pari merito con <strong>Philadelphia </strong>e si giocheranno la qualificazione fino all&#8217;ultimo.</p>

<p>Assicurata la qualificazione, <strong>Cincinnati </strong>riceve una squadra ancora impegnata nella lotta. <strong>LAFC </strong>ha raccolto solo 2 punti nelle ultime 5 e rischia di subire altri sorpassi. Nonostante la vittoria della <strong>League Cup</strong>, <strong>Giroud </strong>e compagni devono chiudere bene la <em>regulars season</em>.</p>
<p>I californiani dominano fin dai primi minuti e riescono a passare in vantaggio grazie al sinistro a giro di <strong>Martìnez</strong>, che conclude una grande azione di sfondamento di <strong>O&#8217;Brien</strong>.</p>
<p><strong>Cincinnati </strong>prende coraggio e attacca, soprattutto a inizio ripresa, e al 61&#8242; il solito <strong>Orellano </strong>riceve palla fuori area da calcio d&#8217;angolo e col sinistro disegna una parabola che grazie a una deviazione si infila alle spalle di <strong>Lloris</strong>.</p>
<p>La qualità degli ospiti però esplode definitivamente circa 10&#8242; più tardi, quando <strong>Bouanga </strong>si mette in proprio, sfonda dalla destra e calcia di forza sul primo palo, trovando il gol del nuovo vantaggio.</p>
<p><strong>LAFC </strong>chiude il discorso <em>playoff </em>e con 3 giornate di anticipo si assicura un posto.</p>

<p>Anche i campioni in carica hanno staccato il biglietti per gli <em>AUDI MLS playoff</em> e a <strong>Washington </strong>intendono vincere ancora. Il <strong>DC </strong>però non è ancora fuori dai giochi e deve vincere per restare in corsa.</p>
<p>A far esplodere l&#8217;<em>AUDI Field </em>ci pensa il capocannoniere dell&#8217;<strong>MLS</strong>, <strong>Benteke</strong>. Il belga rifinisce un contropiede solitario di <strong>Ku-Dipietro </strong>e sotto porta non sbaglia.</p>
<p>La reazione di <strong>Columbus </strong>arriva nel secondo tempo con un altro bomber, <strong>Cucho Hernandez</strong>, che riceve palla al limite dell&#8217;area e si gira da posizione impossibile col pallone che si infila all&#8217;incrocio.</p>
<p>Non finisce qui, pochi minuti più tardi sempre il <strong>9 </strong>disegna un assist perfetto dalla trequarti per <strong>Russel-Rowe </strong>che in tuffo di testa ribalta completamente il risultato.</p>
<p>Il <strong>DC </strong>però non molla e a forza di attaccare trova il pari ancora con Benteke, bravo a inserirsi al centro dell&#8217;area e finalizzare tutto solo.</p>
<p>Possibilità che riducono ancora per la squadra di <strong>Washington</strong>.</p>
<p><strong>Inter Miami-Charlotte 1-1 (57&#8242; Swiderski, 67&#8242; Messi)</strong></p>

<p><strong>Messi </strong>e compagni vantano un <strong>+8 </strong>rispetto alla seconda, obiettivo chiudere al primo posto della <strong>Eastern Conference</strong>. <strong>Charlotte </strong>si guarda le spalle e cerca punti per consolidare la posizione.</p>
<p>Succede tutto nella ripresa, prima col vantaggio degli ospiti che sbloccano il risultato grazie al polacco <strong>Swiderski</strong>. L&#8217;ex <strong>Hellas Verona </strong>si trova nel posto giusto al momento giusto e devia la conclusione del compagno quel tanto che basta per beffare <strong>Callender</strong>.</p>
<p>10 minuti più tardi però arriva lo zampino della <em>pulce</em>. Azione da corner che si sviluppa da un passaggio corto, il pallone arriva a <strong>Messi </strong>che calcia con precisione chirurgica all&#8217;angolino.</p>
<p>Tante emozioni nel recupero ma alla fine è 1-1. <strong>Charlotte </strong>tiene a distanza <strong>Toronto </strong>e avvicina la qualificazione al 7° posto.</p>
<p><strong>New England Revolution-Nashville SC 1-0 (86&#8242; Bye)</strong></p>

<p>Ora o mai più per <strong>Nashville </strong>che deve per forza vincere se vuole darsi l&#8217;ultima occasione di agguantare i <em>playoff</em>. <strong>New England </strong>non ha più niente da chiedere al campionato ma vuole ben figurare davanti ai propri tifosi per questo finale di stagione.</p>
<p>Tante occasioni da una parte e dall&#8217;altra ma il match non si sblocca. Più ospiti che padroni di casa ma lo 0-0 la fa da padrone. Nella ripresa i <em>Revolution </em>entrano in campo con un altro piglio e vanno più volte vicini al vantaggio.</p>
<p>Quando sembra finita, ecco che l&#8217;azione avvolgente che porta <strong>Longoni</strong> al cross dalla destra culmina col colpo di testa di <strong>Bye</strong>. <strong>New England </strong>vince e fa festa coi tifosi, nonostante il mancato obiettivo.</p>
<p><strong>New York Red Bulls-New York City 1-5 (5&#8242; Moralez, 7&#8242;, 45&#8217;+5 </strong><strong>Martínez, 28&#8242; </strong><strong>Vanzeir, 30&#8242; Perea, 68&#8242; Gray)</strong></p>

<p>È tempo di <strong>Derby </strong>nella <em>Grande Mela</em>. <strong>City </strong>e <strong>Red Bulls </strong>si affrontano quasi certe di un piazzamento che permetterebbe di continuare la rincorsa alla vittoria finale. Pubblico delle grandi occasioni alla <em>Red Bull Arena</em>.</p>
<p>Un errore in impostazione del portiere <strong>Coronel </strong>permette a <strong>Moràlez </strong>di aprire le marcature dopo soli 5 minuti. Inizio prorompente di <strong>New York City </strong>che un minuto più tardi raddoppia con la fuga di <strong>Martìnez </strong>in campo aperto e la conclusione perfetta una volta giunto in area.</p>
<p>I <em>Red Bulls </em>però non ci stanno e al <strong>28&#8242; </strong>accorciano le distanze con <strong>Vanzeir</strong>, che conclude in rete un batti e ribatti in area. Nemmeno il tempo di festeggiare che i <em>blue </em>tornano avanti col colpo di testa di <strong>Perea </strong>che sbuca sul secondo palo e fa <strong>1-3</strong>.</p>
<p>Nel recupero del primo tempo arriva addirittura il <em>poker </em>con la sgroppata sulla sinistra di <strong>O&#8217;Toole </strong>che mette al centro per <strong>Martìnez</strong>, bravo a stoppare e calciare di controbalzo per la doppietta personale.</p>
<p>Il Derby è già chiuso all&#8217;intervallo ma nella ripresa c&#8217;è anche spazio per il sinistro da fuori di <strong>Gray </strong>che fissa il risultato sull&#8217;1-5. Entrambe staccano comunque il biglietto per i <em>playoff</em>. Sarà ancora spettacolo in caso di incrocio</p>
<p><strong>Philadelphia Union-Atlanta United 1-1 (61&#8242; Harriel, 72&#8242; Lobjanidze)</strong></p>

<p>Importante scontro a <strong>Philadelphia </strong>dove<em> Union</em> e <strong>Atlanta </strong>si giocano la qualificazione ai <em>playoff</em>. Gli ospiti sono obbligati a vincere mentre i padroni di casa devono guardarsi le spalle anche da <strong>Montreal</strong>.</p>
<p>Partita molto intensa fin dai primi minuti con <strong>Philadelphia </strong>a condurre il gioco e creare occasioni. Il fuorigioco impedisce di passare in vantaggio con <strong>Uhre </strong>ma nel secondo tempo la gara si sblocca.</p>
<p><strong>Harriel </strong>si libera al limite dell&#8217;area e viene servito alla perfezione, permettendogli di prendere la mira e calciare di precisione all&#8217;angolino. Gli ospiti però reagiscono e 10 minuti più tardi pareggiano grazie al colpo di testa di <strong>Lobjanidze</strong>, che conclude un&#8217;azione avvolgente dei suoi.</p>
<p>Alla fine è un punto a testa, che giova di più ai padroni di casa, ma ci sarà da dare battaglia fino all&#8217;ultima giornata.</p>

<p>Nonostante l&#8217;entusiasmo contagioso, ad <strong>Austin </strong>le chance di proseguire nella competizione dopo la <em>regular season </em>sono ormai spente. Il <em>Real </em>è già certo del posto e vuole vincere per agganciare il secondo posto.</p>
<p>Primo tempo divertente ma senza goal. Entrambe le squadre sembrano in forma ma la precisione non è di giornata. La ripresa invece ha tutto un altro ritmo, con gli ospiti che vanno subito in vantaggio col <em>tap in </em>di <strong>Crooks </strong>in seguito alla parata di <strong>Stuver</strong>, sul destro ravvicinato di <strong>Arango</strong>.</p>
<p>Il <em>Real </em>bissa al 65&#8242; su calcio di rigore con <strong><span class="sc-jOiSOi DBagz mls-c-match-data__commentary-last-name">Diogo</span></strong><span class="sc-jOiSOi DBagz mls-c-match-data__commentary-last-name"><strong> Gonçalves</strong>. I texani però non ci stanno e nel finale si lanciano all&#8217;assalto del pari. A 10&#8242; dalla fine <strong>Obrian </strong>gira in porta dal limite un pallone vagante e accorcia le distanze. Nell&#8217;ultimo giro di lancette l&#8217;invenzione di <strong>Driussi </strong>pesca in area <strong>Biro</strong>, che stoppa in area piccola e infila il 2-2 in extremis.</span></p>
<p>Un pareggio che però spegne definitivamente le speranze di <strong>Austin</strong>, che ora si trova a -9 dall&#8217;ultimo spot.</p>

<p>Match fondamentale per <strong>Toronto </strong>che si gioca la stagione a <strong>Chicago </strong>contro una squadra ormai abbandonata a sè stessa e che occupa l&#8217;ultimo posto in classifica nella <strong>Eastern MLS</strong>.</p>
<p>La prima vera emozione arriva sul finale del primo tempo, con la progressione di <strong>Bernardeschi </strong>che termina con l&#8217;atterramento dell&#8217;ex <strong>Juventus</strong> e conseguente calcio di rigore per <strong>Toronto</strong>. Dal dischetto va <strong>Owusu </strong>che non sbaglia.</p>
<p>Diverse ripartenze non sorridono ai canadesi, che non riescono a chiudere la partita e vanno incontro al dramma. Una delle poche azioni dei <em>Fire </em>culmina col lavoro di <strong>Lassiter</strong>, che dalla fascia rientra sul destro e mette il cross perfetto per la deviazione di <strong>Dean </strong>sul secondo palo.</p>
<p><strong>Insigne </strong>e compagni mancano il match point per la qualificazione ma conservano l&#8217;8° posto, ora occupato da ben <strong>3 squadre</strong>.</p>
<p><strong>FC Dallas-Orlando City 1-3 (18&#8242; Enrique, 51&#8242; Schlegel, 55&#8242; Torres, 78&#8242; Arriola)</strong></p>

<p>Una sconfitta per <strong>Dallas </strong>significherebbe <em>Game Over </em>mentre per gli ospiti, una vittoria garantirebbe il pass per i <em>playoff</em>. Sfida da dentro o fuori che <strong>Muriel </strong>e compagni vogliono portare a casa per cominciare a pensare al&#8217;immediato futuro.</p>
<p><strong>Orlando </strong>parte subito fortissimo e passa in vantaggio col colpo di testa di <strong>Enrique </strong>su cross dalla sinistra. A inizio ripresa da corner arriva il raddoppio firmato <strong>Schlegel</strong>, perfetto nell&#8217;inserimento e nell&#8217;incornata vincente.</p>
<p>Il <em>tris </em>arriva qualche minuto più tardi con la ripartenza di Enrique e il filtrante per <strong>Torres </strong>che tutto solo fredda <strong>Paes </strong>sul primo palo. A nulla serve il <em>penalty </em>di <strong>Arriola</strong> per i padroni di casa. Vittoria che permette ai <em>lions </em>di accedere alla prossima fase.</p>
<p><strong>Minnesota-Colorado Rapids 3-0 (16&#8242;, 47&#8242; Yeboah, 82&#8242; Dotson)</strong></p>

<p>Un&#8217;altra squadra già certa della qualificazione è <strong>Colorado</strong>. La vittoria nell&#8217;ultimo turno ha sancito di fatto almeno il 7° posto, dunque contro <strong>Minnesota </strong>l&#8217;obiettivo è il sorpasso su <strong>LA </strong>e <strong>Real Salt Lake</strong>.</p>
<p>La gara per gli ospiti inizia però subito in salita. Al quarto d&#8217;ora arriva il vantaggio dei padroni di casa col solito <strong>Yeboah</strong>, che si è fatto trovare al posto giusto nel momento giusto e sulla conclusione di <strong>Lod </strong>è arrivata la deviazione decisiva.</p>
<p>Il n°9 si ripete a inizio ripresa al termine di un&#8217;azione di sfondamento dalla sinistra da parte di un compagno, palla al 9 che controlla e pietrifica <strong>Steffen </strong>col destro rasoterra.</p>
<p>C&#8217;è spazio anche per il <em>tris </em>di <strong>Minnesota </strong>con l&#8217;azione personale di <strong>Dotson</strong> che parte dalla destra, si accentra e calcia di precisione sul primo palo col sinistro.</p>
<p>Grande vittoria per i biancoblu che mettono una serie ipoteca sulla qualificazione ai <em>playoff</em> e vedono il traguardo.</p>
<p><strong>St. Louis City-Sporting Kansas City 3-1 (33&#8242; Teuchert, 54&#8242; Alm, 63&#8242; Afrifa, 75&#8242; Löwen)</strong></p>

<p>Dopo la sconfitta in finale di <strong>League Cup</strong>, lo <em>Sporting </em>può ritenere conclusa la sua stagione. Stesso discorso per <strong>St. Louis</strong>, <strong>9 punti </strong>sono praticamente irrecuperabili. Spazio a giovani e clima più che disteso.</p>
<p>Pubblico delle grandi occasioni al <em>CityPark </em>nonostante la stagione abbastanza negativa. Partita bloccata fino alla mezz&#8217;ora quando <strong>Teuchert </strong>raccoglie un pallone vagante al limite dell&#8217;area e fa partire un destro a giro che si infila quasi nel sette.</p>
<p>Il raddoppio arriva a inizio secondo tempo grazie al gran lavoro di <strong>Klauss </strong>che addomestica un lancio lungo, apre per Teuchert che tocca al centro per il <em>tap in </em>facile facile di <strong>Alm</strong>.</p>
<p>Lo <em>Sporting </em>riapre la gara col destro a giro di <strong>Afrifa </strong>dal limite dell&#8217;area e si lancia all&#8217;attacco per pareggiare il prima possibile. Tutti gli sforzi però diventano vani al 75&#8242; con l&#8217;ennesimo contropiede di <strong>St. Louis</strong>, guidato dal solito Klauss, che lascia ancora all&#8217;autore del primo goal, il quale crossa e trova tutto solo <strong>Löwen</strong>, <em>tris </em>calato.</p>
<p><strong>Seattle Sounders-Houston Dynamo 1-0 (22&#8242; Rothrock)</strong></p>

<p>Rovente invece il clima a <strong>Seattle </strong>dove i padroni di cassa si scontrano con <strong>Houston</strong>, distante solo di un punto. I <em>Sounders</em> vogliono vincere per staccare il biglietto tanto atteso e meritato dopo la grande ripresa nella seconda parte di stagione.</p>
<p>Padroni di casa che passano in vantaggio a metà del primo tempo, al termine di un&#8217;azione confusa dentro l&#8217;area della <em>Dynamo</em>, risolta poi da piattone di <strong>Rothrock</strong>.</p>
<p>Gli ospiti non portano pericoli dalle parti di <strong>Frei </strong>e la partita scorre su binari tranquilli per praticamente tutto il tempo. Qualche sussulto di <strong>De la Vega </strong>nella ripresa ma la vittoria è di <strong>Seattle</strong>, che insieme proprio a <strong>Houston</strong>, conquista il pass per i <em>playoff</em>.</p>
