<p>La <strong>trentaquattresima giornata di MLS </strong>si apre <strong>New York </strong>con l&#8217;anticipo tra il <em>City </em>e l&#8217;<strong>Inter Miami</strong>. Assicurato l&#8217;accesso ai <em>playoff</em>, i ragazzi del <em>Tata </em><strong>Martino </strong>vogliono vincere il girone.</p>
<p>Il primo tempo è un concentrato di occasioni da entrambe le parti ma i veri protagonisti sono gli estremi difensori <strong>Callender </strong>e <strong>Freese</strong>. I tentativi di <strong>Messi </strong>e <strong>Rodriguez </strong>non vanno a segno.</p>
<p>Succede quindi tutto nella ripresa con gli ospiti che sbloccano la gara grazie a uno strappo del solito Messi, l&#8217;argentino se ne va centralmente e appoggia a sinistra per <strong>Jordi Alba </strong>che di prima trova <strong>Campana </strong>tutto solo nell&#8217;area piccola.</p>
<p>La vittoria sembra ormai conquistata ma all&#8217;ultimo secondo di partita lo stacco di testa di <strong>Sands </strong>da calcio d&#8217;angolo regala il pareggio a <strong>New York City</strong>. Punto che ai padroni di casa sta stretto perchè li allontana dalla <em>top 5 </em>e dai cugini.</p>

<p>A <strong>Charlotte </strong>l&#8217;obbligo è quello di vincere per avvicinarsi ancora di più alla qualificazione. Di fronte ci sono i <em>Revolution</em>, ormai praticamente fuori dai giochi.</p>
<p>Il primo goal lo segna <strong>Abada</strong>, che sfrutta un batti e ribatti in area di rigore per insaccare a porta vuota vista l&#8217;uscita del portiere avversario. Nella ripresa continua il <em>forcing </em>dei padroni di casa alla ricerca del raddoppio e ci pensa il solito <strong>Agyemang </strong>a confezionare l&#8217;assist per <strong>Biel</strong>, libero di colpire all&#8217;altezza del dischetto.</p>
<p>Il <strong>33 </strong>poi aggiunge anche il suo nome al tabellino dei marcatori con un diagonale al termine di un contropiede con <strong>New England </strong>tutto sbilanciato.</p>
<p>Il <em>Poker </em>arriva per mano di <strong>Vargas </strong>che riceve sulla sinistra dell&#8217;area e di prima apre il piattone, piazzando il pallone all&#8217;angolino.</p>
<p>Tre punti che permettono a <strong>Charlotte </strong>di raggiungere e agganciare <strong>New York City</strong> a quota <strong>41 punti</strong>.</p>

<p>Le possibilità di qualificazione per <strong>Montreal </strong>sono ridotte all&#8217;osso però mantenendo questa posizione sarebbe garantito almeno lo spareggio pre-playoff. Per <strong>Chicago </strong>ormai le speranze si sono spente per questa stagione.</p>
<p>La rete che sblocca il match la sigla il solito <strong>Josef Martìnez </strong>che scatta sul lancio lungo del compagno, stoppa col petto e di prima di destro batte <strong>Brady </strong>in uscita.</p>
<p>I canadesi poi chiudono la pratica allo scoccare dell&#8217;ultimo quarto d&#8217;ora con lo <strong>scavetto </strong>di <strong>Clarke</strong>, che chiude il contropiede.</p>
<p>Vittoria importantissima per <strong>Montreal </strong>che mantiene la <strong>9° </strong>posizione a discapito di <strong>Atlanta</strong>.</p>

<p>Raggiunta la qualificazione nell&#8217;ultimo turno, <strong>Columbus Crew </strong>riceve <strong>Orlando </strong>che è ancora in corsa per strappare un biglietto. Si preannuncia un sfida spettacolare.</p>
<p>Il solito <strong>Rossi </strong>apre le marcature con un destro diagonale e preciso all&#8217;angolo opposto, in seguito a un recupero alto operato da un compagno.</p>
<p>A inizio ripresa i padroni di casa raddoppiano con il colpo di testa di <strong>Ramìrez </strong>da centro area su cross dalla sinistra di <strong>Arfsten</strong>. Il <em>tris </em>arriva per mano di <strong>Cucho</strong>, che si inserisce centralmente e sfrutta il filtrante dalla trequarti destra ancora di Arfsten, per aprire il piattone.</p>
<p>La reazione di <strong>Orlando </strong>però è immediata e la partita si riapre col goal di <strong>Enrique </strong>a porta sguarnita. Qualche minuto più tardi ci pensa <strong>Muriel </strong>a portare a -1 le distanze tra le due squadre.</p>
<p>Un&#8217;occasione clamorosa risolta dalla difesa di casa evita il 3-3 e poco dopo arriva il <em>poker </em>con <strong>Jackson</strong>. A nulla serve la doppietta di <strong>Muriel </strong>che fissa il risultato finale sul 4-3.</p>
<p>Brutta sconfitta per <strong>Orlando City </strong>che vede avvicinarsi le inseguitrici.</p>

<p>Altra sfida nella <em>Grande Mela </em>ma questa volta di fronte ci sono <em>Red Bulls </em>e <strong>Atlanta</strong> <strong>United</strong>. I padroni di casa sono in cerca degli ultimi punti per sancire la qualificazione, gli ospiti lottano per l&#8217;ultimo spot.</p>
<p>Alla mezzora <strong>Vanzeir </strong>ci mette il piede e devia il cross basso di <strong>Tolkin </strong>dal fondo per l&#8217;<strong>1-0 New York</strong>. Nel recupero del primo tempo però <strong>Miranchuk </strong>segna il suo secondo goal in <strong>MLS</strong>, trasformando un calcio di rigore.</p>
<p>Nel finale di partita succede di tutto: all&#8217;88 <strong>Guzan </strong>ipnotizza <strong>Elia Manoel </strong>dal dischetto, durante il primo minuto di recupero <strong>Atlanta </strong>passa clamorosamente in vantaggio grazie al grandissimo goal del neo entrato <strong>Mosquera </strong>(serpentina da sinistra e destro a giro all&#8217;incrocio).</p>
<p>Non è però finita quì perché proprio l&#8217;<strong>11 </strong>della squadra di casa si fa trovare nel posto giusto al momento giusto e ribatte in rete la sponda del compagno su cross dalla destra, infilando finalmente <strong>Guzan</strong>.</p>
<p><strong>Pareggio al cardiopalma </strong>che però giova di più ai <em>Red Bulls</em>, gli ospiti subiscono il sorpasso di un paio di squadre.</p>
<p><strong>FC Dallas &#8211; Los Angeles FC 3-1 (28&#8242; Musa, 60&#8242; Delgado, 62&#8242; Farrington, 86&#8242; Atuesta)</strong></p>

<p><strong>Dallas </strong>vuole provare a tutti i costi a raggiungere la qualificazione ma i punti di distanza dall&#8217;ultimo spot sono ben <strong>5</strong>. Obbligo di vittoria contro una squadra che non ha ancora raggiunto i <em>playoff</em> a causa di prestazioni deludenti nelle ultime.</p>
<p>La prima emozione arriva intorno alla mezzora con l&#8217;azione personale di <strong>Musa </strong>che parte da lontano, arriva al limite e conclude con un diagonale imprendibile per <b>Hasal</b>.</p>
<p>Nella ripresa arriva subito il raddoppio con la gran conclusione di <strong>Delgado </strong>dal limite dell&#8217;area che conclude una perfetta azione corale della squadra.</p>
<p>I padroni di casa giocano alla perfezione e poco dopo trovano anche il <em>tris</em> con <strong>Farrigton</strong>, inseritosi in area e servito con un&#8217;imbucata dalla destra del solito <strong>Ferreira</strong>.</p>
<p>A poco serve il goal di consolazione di <strong>Atuesta</strong>. Brutta sconfitta per <strong>LAFC </strong>che subisce il sorpasso da <strong>Real Salt Lake </strong>e <strong>Colorado Rapids</strong>, che si sono assicurati la qualificazione.</p>
<p><strong>Nashville SC &#8211; Cincinnati 2-2 (5&#8242;, 25&#8242; Surridge, 9&#8242; Acosta, 52&#8242; Orellano)</strong></p>

<p><strong>Cincinnati</strong>, abbandonate le speranze del primo posto nella <strong>Eastern MLS</strong>, vuole comunque assicurarsi il posto nei <em>playoff </em>con qualche giornata di anticipo.</p>
<p>Il match comincia subito in salita a causa del goal di <strong>Surridge </strong>dopo soli 5 minuti, in girata da centro area. La reazione però c&#8217;è e al 9&#8242; ci pensa il solito <strong>Acosta </strong>a rimettere tutti in equilibrio.</p>
<p>Il 9 di casa però non ci sta e riporta in vantaggio <strong>Nashville </strong>con un preciso colpo di testa all&#8217;angolino, da calcio d&#8217;angolo.</p>
<p>Gli ospiti vanno a riposo in svantaggio ma a inizio ripresa sale in cattedra il magnifico sinistro di <strong>Orellano </strong>che direttamente su calcio di punizione riacciuffa gli avversari.</p>
<p><strong>Cincinnati </strong>si fa così raggiungere e agganciare da <strong>Columbus </strong>dunque per il secondo posto sarà gara fino all&#8217;ultimo.</p>
<p><strong>Sporting Kansas City &#8211; Minnesota 0-2 (65&#8242; Yeboah, 90&#8217;+4 Hlongwane)</strong></p>

<p>Lo <em>Sporting </em>non ha più niente da chiedere al campionato, <strong>Minnesota </strong>invece lotta per entrare almeno nella <em>top 9</em>.</p>
<p>Il match si sblocca solo a metà ripresa con la partenza dal basso degli ospiti e <strong>Lod </strong>che guida centralmente, appoggia su <strong>Yeboah </strong>largo a sinistra che prima esegue un doppio passo poi lascia partire una parabola col destro che non lascia scampo al portiere avversario.</p>
<p>Nel finale <strong>Kansas City </strong>fallisce un calcio di rigore con <strong>Agada </strong>e nel recupero <strong>Hlongwane </strong>chiude definitivamente in conti, sul filo del fuorigioco. Vittoria importantissima per Minnesota che si porta così a <strong>42 punti</strong>, proprio al 9° posto (ultimo spot valido).</p>

<p>La stagione dei <em>Rapids </em>è stata una vera e propria montagna russa ma alla fine si è rivelata un successo. Contro <strong>Toronto </strong>c&#8217;è la possibilità di salire al 3° posto, dietro a <em>Galaxy </em>e <strong>Real Salt Lake</strong>.</p>
<p>Il primo tempo è tutto di marchio <strong>Colorado </strong>tuttavia il goal del vantaggio non arriva, nonostante i diversi tentativi verso la porta di <strong>Johnson</strong>.</p>
<p>A inizio ripresa però ci pensa <strong>Cannon </strong>a portare in vantaggio i suoi con un piatto destro di prima intenzione da fuori area, che si infila nell&#8217;angolino sinistro.</p>
<p><strong>Toronto </strong>fatica ad accennare una reazione e sul finale di tempo regala ai padroni di casa la possibilità di raddoppiare. Calcio di rigore per il quale <strong>Mihailovic </strong>si incarica della battuta e non sbaglia.</p>
<p><strong>Colorado Rapids </strong>sale così a <strong>50 punti </strong>e conquista il <strong>3°</strong> <strong>posto</strong>, nonchè la <strong>qualificazione ai playoff<em>, </em></strong>nella <strong>Western MLS</strong>. I canadesi conservano l&#8217;8° posto ma si devono guardare le spalle per non perdere terreno.</p>
<p><strong>Austin &#8211; Houston Dynamo (83&#8242; Carrasquilla)</strong></p>

<p>Derby in <strong>Texas </strong>fra <em>Dynamo </em>e <strong>Austin</strong>. Gli ospiti sono nettamente sopra in classifica e puntano a consolidare la posizione per giocarsi i <em>playoff </em>tra un mese.</p>
<p>Partita nervosa ma anche divertente nel primo tempo con tanto agonismo e voglia di segnare. Il risultato però non si sblocca e le due squadra vanno a riposto a reti bianche.</p>
<p>Nella ripresa tanti lampi da una parte e dall&#8217;altra ma gli estremi difensori salgono in cattedra con alcuni interventi decisivi. Quando il match sembra indirizzato al pareggio, da corner nasce il goal degli ospiti.</p>
<p>Cross lungo sul secondo palo, torre di un <em>orange</em> e <strong>Carrasquilla </strong>in rovesciata colpisce bene e, complice una deviazione, trova il vantaggio a neanche 10&#8242; dalla fine.</p>
<p>Gelato il pubblico di casa, <strong>Houston </strong>sbanca <strong>Austin </strong>e si porta a <strong>48 punti</strong>, 1 solo di distanza da <strong>LAFC</strong>.</p>

<p>Lo stop contro<strong>Houston </strong>e la vittoria con <strong>Dallas </strong>hanno dato una scossa a tutto l&#8217;ambiente. L&#8217;obiettivo del <em>Real </em>è non farsi rimontare dalle concorrenti e assicurarsi il posto nei <em>playoff</em>. <strong>Portland </strong>deve difendere a tutti i cosi l&#8217;8° posto.</p>
<p>A segnare per primi sono i padroni di casa col gran lavoro di <strong>Marczuk </strong>dentro l&#8217;area, stoppa un cross dalla sinistra si porta il pallone sul mancino e batte il portiere all&#8217;altezza dell&#8217;area piccola.</p>
<p>Al 22&#8242; il solito <strong>Luna </strong>approfitta di una dormita della difesa dei <em>Timbers </em>per appostarsi a centro area e appoggiare in rete con la porta sguarnita il pallone del <strong>2-0</strong>.</p>
<p>Gli ospiti vanno a riposo sotto di due goal ma la reazione arriva a metà ripresa. Prima <strong>Antony </strong>risolve una mischia da corner e accorcia le distanze, poi <strong>Evander </strong>disegna una splendida traiettoria direttamente su calcio di punizione e pareggia i conti.</p>
<p>La partita sembra ormai destinata al pareggio ma la qualità di <strong>Chicho Arango </strong>risalta ancora una volta su quella di tutti gli altri. Il 9 riceve tra le linee e serve con un filtrante <strong>Diogo <span class="sc-jOiSOi DBagz mls-c-match-data__commentary-last-name">Gonçalves</span></strong>, che controlla e dal limite calcia di collo pieno trovando il <strong>3-2 </strong>allo scoccare del 90&#8242;.</p>
<p><strong>Portland </strong>però non ci sta e in pieno recupero pesca con <strong>Rodrìguez </strong>il colpo di testa del pareggio, completamente in extremis. Un pari che consegna al <strong>Real Salt Lake </strong>la qualificazione <strong>ai playoff</strong>.</p>

<p>Conquistata la qualificazione nell&#8217;ultimo turno, i <em>Galaxy </em>vogliono confermare il <strong>1° posto </strong>nella <strong>Western MLS </strong>e per farlo devono battere gli <em>Whitecaps</em>, che stanno attraversano un buon momento di forma.</p>
<p>Alla mezzora il solito <strong>Pec </strong>apre il piattone sinistro e porta in vantaggio <strong>Los Angeles</strong>. A inizio ripresa ancora il n° 11 semina il panico all&#8217;interno della difesa avversaria, mette in mezzo e <strong>Berhalter </strong>devia nella sua porta il <strong>2-0</strong>.</p>
<p>Al 63&#8242; <strong>Vancouver </strong>rientra in partita grazie all&#8217;azione avvolgente conclusa dal <em>tap in </em>vincente di <strong>White </strong>in seguito alla torre del compagno. Le speranze di rimonta però durano poco e al 69&#8242; <strong>Riqui Puig</strong>, <strong>Pec </strong>e <strong>Paintsil </strong>confezionano il <em>tris </em>con quest&#8217;ultimo a concludere l&#8217;azione.</p>
<p>Nel recupero c&#8217;è spazio anche per l&#8217;ex <strong>Barcellona </strong>che segna lo stesso identico goal siglato contro <strong>LAFC</strong>, a giro dal limite dell&#8217;area e cala il <em>poker</em>. A 20&#8242; dalla fine poi <strong>Gazdag </strong>sigla la doppietta personale sfruttando l&#8217;errore in impostazione della difesa di <strong>Washington</strong>.</p>
<p>Gli <em>Union </em>conquistano 3 punti che permettono di tenere a distanza <strong>Montreal </strong>e avvicinarsi passo dopo passo ai <em>playoff</em>.</p>
